Anti-regime protests staged in various Iranian cities

Various sectors of Iranian society protested against the suppressive and predatory policies of the clerical regime in Tehran, Hamedan, Yazd and Samirom.
In Tehran, the extensive protests of students at the colleges of Shariati, Vali-e-Asr, Shamsipour and Ehghelab which had been started on last Monday ended its third day.
In fear of spreading out protests, the suppressive State Security Force agents (SSF) attacked the students but were faced with severe reactions of the students; the clashes stretched to the streets around the colleges.
In Yazd, central Iranian city, more than 200 farmers gathered in the Fruit and Vegetable Square to protest against the surcharges imposed by the government.
In Samirom, western Iranian city, 200 farmers gathered in front of the Governorate building on Wednesday.
In Hamedan, western Iranian city, the students of Bou Ali Sina University staged gathering to protest against suppressive measures of the disciplinary committees and new regulations.
