Heavy Clashes between rival factions on the election day in Iran

According to received reports, extensive clashes occured among rival factions during elections in Andimeshk, Marand , Makou, Yasouj and a number of other cities.
The conflict in Marand, in eastern Azarbaijaan province, led to clashes with State Security Forces (SSF) and attacks against the governmental vehicles and buildings. This clash took place in the Galehban region of Marand in which 6 people were arrested. The commander of the SSF and two of its agents were injured that were transferred to hospital.
In Andimeshk, the confrontation took place between supporters of two candidates. This clash led to air shooting and two vehicles were overturned.

According to received news, the clash was so severe that the SSF agents interfered and fired tear gas. Special guards of the SSF were deployed in Andimeshk to prevent confrontation of adversary bands.
In Makou, the candidates of two rival factions threaten each other to assassination.
Gholamreza Jalilzadeh, through releasing of a statement, announced that Solaiman Jaafarzadeh intended to assassinate him and has dispatched a few people for this purpose.
